Back up and Running

While the 950 mile move took it's toll on the coral, everything has recovered nicely and nothing in the 2g was lost! Not a single thing after being out of sorts for almost 3 days.

Even the Montipora Digitata that I broke is growing back and looking more healthy than ever.

Cross Country Move

We Made It! Last week I had the pleasure of dragging my 2 reefs (20g mainly acros and 2g mixed pico) 950 miles across the country from Durham, North Carolina way up to Madison, Wisconsin over the span of two days. All of my acros were in coolers for nearly 48 hours and still in a temp tank with only a single casualty of a small frag of Cali Tort Acro that fell off the eggcrate onto the acans packed below.

Here are both reefs packed up in the U-Haul Truck - this is what they looked like for the better part of 3 days:
